Now taking applications for one(1) Full time ff2/EMt

The Polk Jackson Perry Fire District is currently taking applications for one full time firefighter emt. Applicant will respond to fire, rescue and EMS calls, check apparatus to ensure they are ready to respond to calls, perform general maintenance of the station and grounds (cleaning, mowing, etc.), and ensure he/she is always ready to respond at a moments notice. Most days there are at least 2 personnel staffed and will be requires to operate as a team.

$50,000 - $60,000

(Depends on qualifications)

Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM.

The first interviews are currently scheduled for Aug 20. If an applicant is selected to fill the position, the position will be closed. If no applicants are selected, position will remain open until the following month. Applicants will be contacted to confirm interview date and time. Interviews will be held on station.
